Over the next few months we’ll be telling you what’s happening this year at the Flamstead Scarecrow Festival alongside seeing all of the brilliant Scarecrows of course!
So first off, are you an aspiring musician? Do you think you could be the next Ed Sheeran, Adele or Stormzy? Would you love the chance to play in front of a crowd but haven’t yet got up the nerve or had the opportunity?
Well we may be able to help!
On the Friday afternoon of the Scarecrow Festival we will be holding an afternoon of music in the church yard. A “Flamstead Introducing” stage if you will and we’d love to offer any budding (or experienced) musicians the chance to have their (literally) 15 minutes of fame by performing a 15 minute acoustic set to the crowds visiting the Scarecrow Festival.
So if you love to play a musical instrument or sing, or perhaps you are in a band and would love to chance to play to the public then now’s your chance!!
So if you are interested then send us a message via the page with your name and what instrument or type of music you play and we will get back in touch.
We really want to support our local talent, especially young local talent, so initial preference will be given to Flamstead residents or those with links to the village.
